Savour The Flavour
Come to the Crapaud Exhibition to enjoy the foods and celebrate the flavours of our local communities in PEI. Meet the producers who grow, harvest, or process PEI food. The 2019 Savour the Flavour program has been finalized with six new recipes. We try to create new eating experiences that are easy to prepare, affordable and nutritious, and to educate our audience about the food producers in our area and the nutritional value of these foods.
Our demonstrations this year are being prepared by chef Peter G. Hicks. Chef will be putting together the new recipes while offering tips and advice. We will be featuring produce from Thompson Potatoes, MR Seafoods, Larkin Bros., Meadowbrook Farms, and ADL. Some of our former producers will also be back.
This years demos: Potato Quiche, Pulled Pork, and Chocolate Pie made with ADL sweet and condensed maple milk and others. Come sit in the comfort of our open kitchen area in the Actiplex between 11:00 AM and 3:30 PM.
